Hadith 4321

نَا حَمْزَةُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الإِمَامُ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ الْبَيَاضِيُّ ، نَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الأَشَجِّ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْرًا لَمْ يُسَمِّهِ ، فَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ ، وَمَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْرًا لَمْ يُطِقْهُ ، فَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ ، وَمَنْ نَذَرَ نَذْرًا فَأَطَاقَهُ فَلْيَفِ بِهِ " .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever makes a vow without specifying it, its expiation is the same as the expiation for breaking an oath. And whoever makes a vow that he is unable to fulfill, its expiation is the same as the expiation for breaking an oath. And whoever makes a vow that he is able to fulfill, then he should fulfill it."
