Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If people were given (things) according to their claims, they would begin to claim the lives and wealth of others. The one against whom a claim is made is only required to take an oath."
