Hadith 4298

نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ ، نَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، نَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، نَا نُوحُ بْنُ دَرَّاجٍ ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ تَغْلِبَ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍ وَلا إِقْرَارَ بِدَيْنٍ " .
Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates from his father that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no bequest for an heir, nor will an acknowledgment of debt (be accepted) in the inheritance wealth."
