Hadith 4276

وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ : وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْقُرْآنُ ذَلُولٌ ذُو وُجُوهٍ فَاحْمِلُوهُ عَلَى أَحْسَنِ وُجُوهِهِ " .
With this same chain of narration, it is reported that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "The Qur'an is very gentle, in which there are many aspects, so interpret it according to the situation which is the best."
