Hadith 4235

نَا أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْمَدَايِنِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي سَارَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي الْحُسَيْنِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا وَلَدَتْ مَارِيَةُ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أَعْتَقَهَا وَلَدُهَا " ، تَفَرَّدَ بِحَدِيثِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ، وَزِيَادٌ ثِقَةٌ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When Sayyidah Mariyah (may Allah be pleased with her) gave birth (to the son of the Prophet Muhammad, Sayyiduna Ibrahim, may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Her child has set her free."
