Hadith 4232

نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ تَمِيمِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ، نَا حَامِدُ بْنُ آدَمَ ، نَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيُّمَا جَارِيَةٍ وَلَدَتْ لِسَيِّدِهَا ، فَهِيَ مُعْتَقَةٌ عَنْ دُبُرٍ مِنْهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any slave woman who gives birth to her master's child becomes automatically free after that master's (death)."
