Hadith 4231

نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبَغَوِيُّ ، نَا أَبُو زَيْدِ بْنُ طَرِيفٍ ، نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ، نَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى الْحَنَفِيُّ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبَانَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُمُّ الْوَلَدِ حُرَّةٌ ، وَإِنْ كَانَ سَقْطًا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A slave woman who gives birth to a child will be considered free, even if the child is born incomplete."
