Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that a man came, his name was Salih, and he brought his brother with him. He said: "O Messenger of Allah! I wish to free this brother of mine." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you became his owner, at that time Allah Almighty had already set him free." The narrator named Azrami has been declared unreliable by Abdullah bin Mubarak, Yahya bin Saeed al-Qattan, and Ibn Mahdi, while the narrator named Abu Nazar, Muhammad bin Saib Kalbi, is also unreliable. He is the same person who said that whenever I narrate a hadith from the narrator Abu Salih, it will be a lie.
