حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْبَخْتَرِيِّ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ ، نَا الْوَاقِدِيُّ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّهُ " شَهِدَ حُنَيْنًا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَسْهَمَ لِفَرَسِهِ سَهْمَيْنِ ، وَلَهُ سَهْمًا " .
Muhammad bin Yahya narrates from his father, from his grandfather, that he participated in the Battle of Hunayn with the Prophet (peace be upon him), so the Prophet (peace be upon him) gave his horse two shares and gave him one share.
