حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، نَا عَفَّانُ ، نَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، قَالَ : لا يُخْتَلَفُ فِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لِلْفَارِسِ ثَلاثَةٌ ، وَلِلرَّاجِلِ سَهْمٌ " .
With another chain of narration, it is reported about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that he said: "The horseman will have three shares and the foot soldier will have one share."
