حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى ، نَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ يُسْهِمُ لِلْخَيْلِ لِلْفَارِسِ سَهْمَيْنِ ، وَلِلرَّاجِلِ سَهْمًا " ، أَنَّ تَابَعَهُ ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، وَخَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنِ الْعُمَرِيِّ بِالشَّكِّ فِي الْفَارِسِ وَالْفَرَسِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave two shares to a horseman and one share to a foot soldier. This narration is also transmitted with another chain, however, regarding one word, the narrator is in doubt whether the word is "horse" or "horseman."
