حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ صَاعِدٍ ، نَا أَبُو أُمَيَّةَ الطَّرَسُوسِيُّ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ سِنَانٍ ، نَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ يَعْنِي أَبَاهُ ، حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : " شَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَزَاةً فَأَعْطَى الْفَارِسَ مِنَّا ثَلاثَةَ أَسْهُمٍ ، وَأَعْطَى الرَّاجِلَ سَهْمًا " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I participated in a battle with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave three shares to those who were mounted and one share to the foot soldier.
