Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave one share to the horseman and two shares to the horse. In another narration, the opposite is reported, in which the words are: "The horseman was given two shares and the foot soldier was given one share."
