حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ ، قَالا : نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، نَا قَاسِمُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، نَا يَاسِينُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ الْحَدَثَانِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، وَطَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالُوا : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسْهِمُ لِلْفَرَسِ سَهْمَيْنِ ، وَلِلرَّجُلِ سَهْمًا " ، .
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab, Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaidullah, and Sayyiduna Zubair bin al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with them) narrate that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) allotted two shares to a horse and one share to a man.
