نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَخْتَرِيُّ ، نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ ، نَا الْوَاقِدِيُّ ، نَا مُوسَى بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، عَنْ عَمَّتِهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا ، عَنْ ضُبَاعَةَ بِنْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، " أَنَّهُ ضَرَبَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ سَهْمَيْنِ لِفَرَسِهِ ، وَلَهُ سَهْمًا " .
Sayyiduna Miqdad bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that on the day of the Battle of Badr, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave his horse two shares and gave him one share.
