نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَثْمَةَ ، نَا مُوسَى بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ، حَدَّثَتْنِي عَمَّتِي قَرِيبَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّهَا ، عَنْ ضُبَاعَةَ بِنْتِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَادِ ، قَالَ : " غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ عَلَى فَرَسٍ لَهُ أُنْثَى ، فَأَسْهَمَ لِي سَهْمًا ، وَلِفَرَسِي سَهْمَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I participated in the Battle of Badr with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I was mounted on a horse, which also had its female (mate) with it. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave me one share and gave my horse two shares.
