حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ، نَا الأَحْوَصُ بْنُ جَوَّابٍ ، نَا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ . ح وَنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ الْحَدَّادُ ، وَجَمَاعَةٌ ، قَالُوا : نَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ بْنُ بُرْدٍ الأَنْطَاكِيُّ ، نَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ ، نَا قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ السُّلَمِيِّ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي رُهْمٍ الْغِفَارِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي رُهْمٍ ، قَالَ : " غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَأَخِي وَمَعَنَا فَرَسَانِ ، فَأَعْطَانَا سِتَّةَ أَسْهُمٍ ، أَرْبَعَةً لِفَرَسَيْنَا ، وَسَهْمَيْنِ لَنَا ، فَبِعْنَا سَهْمَيْنَا بِبَكْرَتَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Ruhm (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I participated in a battle with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and my brother was with me. We had two horses with us, so he (the Prophet) gave us six shares: four shares for our two horses and two shares for the two of us. Then we sold our shares in exchange for two young camels.
