لَا وَصِيَّةَ لِوَارِثٍNo bequest for an heir

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ الْمُهْتَدِي بِاللَّهِ ، نَا أَبُو عُلاثَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، نَا أَبِي ، نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا تَجُوزُ وَصِيَّةٌ لِوَارِثٍ إِلا أَنْ يَشَاءَ الْوَرَثَةُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not permissible to make a bequest in favor of an heir, except if the other heirs agree (to it)."
