نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، نَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " وَرَّثَ ثَلاثَ جَدَّاتٍ ، اثْنَتَيْنِ مِنْ قِبَلِ الأَبِ ، وَوَاحِدَةً مِنْ قِبَلِ الأُمِّ " .
Ibrahim bin Yazid narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) made three grandmothers heirs; two of them were from the father's side and one was from the mother's side (that is, there were two paternal grandmothers and one maternal grandmother).
