تَوْرِيثُ الْجَدَّاتِInheritance of grandmothers

نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الرَّازِيُّ ، نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ ، نَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَعْطَى الْجَدَّةَ السُّدُسَ " .
Sayyiduna Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the grandmother (maternal or paternal) one-sixth share.
