نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نَا الرَّمَادِيُّ ، نَا أَبُو مُجَاهِدٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ اسْمُهُ هِشَامٌ ، نَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَتَكِيُّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّهُ أَعْطَى الْجَدَّةَ أُمَّ الأُمِّ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ دُونَهَا أُمٍّ السُّدُسَ " .
Abdullah bin Buraidah narrates from his father regarding the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that he ordered to give the grandmother one-sixth share, provided there is no mother present in a closer degree below her.
