Hadith 405

نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نا الْحَسَّانِيُّ ، نا وَكِيعٌ ، نا الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ خَالَتِهِ مَيْمُونَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " وَضَعْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غُسْلا فَاغْتَسَلَ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ ، فَأَكْفَأَ الإِنَاءَ بِشِمَالِهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلاثًا ثَلاثًا ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِي الإِنَاءِ فَأَفَاضَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى الْحَائِطِ أَوِ الأَرْضِ ، ثُمَّ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ أَفَاضَ عَلَى سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ الْمَاءَ ، ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى فَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from his maternal aunt, Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), that she said: "I placed water for the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to perform ghusl, because he needed to perform ghusl after janabah." He poured water from his right hand onto his left hand and then washed both his hands three times each. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) put his right hand into the vessel and poured water over his private part, then he rubbed his hand on the wall or the ground. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) rinsed his mouth and put water into his nose, then he washed his face and arms, and then he poured water over his entire body. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) moved from that place and washed both his feet.
