حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، نا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، نا الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، حَدَّثَتْنِي مَيْمُونَةُ ، قَالَتْ : " أَدْنَيْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غُسْلا مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاثًا ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِي الْمَاءِ فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى فَرْجِهِ وَغَسَلَ بِشِمَالِهِ ، ثُمَّ دَلَكَ بِشِمَالِهِ الأَرْضَ دَلْكًا شَدِيدًا ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهُ لِلصَّلاةِ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ سَائِرَ جَسَدِهِ بِمِلْءِ كَفَّيْهِ ، ثُمَّ تَنَحَّى مِنْ مَقَامِهِ فَغَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ وَأَتَيْتُهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ فَرَدَّهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) informed me of this: Once, when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to perform ghusl after janabah, I came near him. He washed his hands two or perhaps three times, then he put his blessed hand into the water and poured water over his private part and washed it with his left hand. Then he rubbed his left hand thoroughly on the ground to clean it. Then he performed wudu as he would for prayer. Then he took water in his palms and washed his entire body. Then he moved a little from that place and washed his feet. Then I brought a cloth to him (so that he could wipe his body), but he did not accept it.
