Hadith 3986

نَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الدَّقَّاقُ ، نَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سِنِينَ ، نَا عُمَرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، نَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ اللَّخْمِيُّ ، نَا مَكْحُولٌ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ يُخَامِرَ ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ شَيْئًا أَبْغَضَ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الطَّلاقِ ، فَمَنْ طَلَّقَ وَاسْتَثْنَى فَلَهُ ثُنْيَاهُ " .
Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has not made anything lawful which is more disliked to Him than divorce. So, whoever makes an exception while giving divorce, he will have the right of that exception."
