نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الأَشْعَثِ ، نَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، نَا الْوَلِيدُ ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : وَسَأَلْتُهُ أَيَّ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَعَاذَتْ مِنْهُ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، " أَنَّ ابْنَةَ الْجَوْنِ الْكِلابِيَّةَ ، لَمَّا دَخَلَتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَدَنَا مِنْهَا ، فَقَالَتْ : أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : عُذْتِ بِعَظِيمٍ الْحَقِي بِأَهْلِكِ " .
Al-Awza'i narrates: I asked al-Zuhri: Which wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him) sought refuge from him? He replied: 'Urwah ibn al-Zubayr informed me, on the authority of Lady Aisha, that the name of that woman was bint al-Jawn al-Kilabiyyah. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) went to her and approached her, she said: "I seek refuge with Allah from you." So the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "You have sought refuge with One who is Great; go back to your family."
