Amr bin Murrah narrates: I heard Mahan asking Saeed bin Jubair about a man who gives his wife three divorces. Saeed replied: Abdullah bin Abbas was asked about a man who gives his wife one hundred divorces. Abdullah said: "With three divorces, your wife becomes forbidden for you, and the rest will be a burden upon you, because you have made a mockery of the verses of Allah."
