Hadith 3924

نَا نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا أَبُو الأَزْهَرِ ، نَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، " أَنَّ رَجُلا طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ أَلْفًا ، فَقَالَ : يَكْفِيكَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ ثَلاثٌ ، وَتَدَعُ تَسْعَمِائَةً وَسَبْعًا وَتِسْعِينَ " .
Saeed bin Jubair narrates about Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him): A man gave his wife one thousand divorces, so Sayyiduna Abdullah said: "Three of them will suffice for you, and leave the remaining nine hundred and ninety-seven."
