Muhammad bin Sirin narrates: Twenty years ago, a reliable narrator told me this hadith: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar gave his wife three divorces during her menstruation, so he was ordered to take her back. I considered this narration authentic, he told me this: He had asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar about this, so Sayyiduna Abdullah told him that he had given his wife one divorce during her menstruation, so he was ordered to take her back. Abu Ghalab narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Abdullah: "Was that divorce counted?" So Sayyiduna Abdullah said: "Why not, was he incapable?"
