Hadith 39

أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، نا إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْحَرْبِيُّ ، نا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، نا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، عَنْ رَوْحِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : " إِذَا بَلَغَ الْمَاءُ أَرْبَعِينَ قُلَّةً لَمْ يُنَجَّسْ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When water reaches forty qullahs, it does not become impure."
