Hadith 3891

نَا نَا الْحُسَيْنُ ، وَالْقَاسِمُ ، أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْمَحَامِلِيُّ ، قَالا : نَا أَبُو السَّائِبِ سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ ، نَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " طَلاقُ السُّنَّةِ أَنْ يُطَلِّقَهَا فِي كُلِّ طُهْرٍ تَطْلِيقَةً ، فَإِذَا كَانَ آخِرُ ذَلِكَ ، فَتِلْكَ الْعِدَّةُ الَّتِي أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Sunnah method of giving divorce is that a man gives his wife one divorce during each period of purity; when this is completed, then this is the waiting period about which Allah has commanded."
