Hadith 3849

نَا نَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، نَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، نَا سَوَّارُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُرَحْبِيلَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " امْرَأَةُ الْمَفْقُودِ ، امْرَأَتُهُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهَا الْخَبَرُ " .
Sayyiduna Mughira bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The wife of a missing person will remain his wife until news (of the missing person’s death) reaches that woman.”
