Hadith 3820

نَا نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ ، نَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، نَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ أَغْلَقَ بَابًا ، وَأَرْخَى سِتْرًا ، فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الصَّدَاقُ " .
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "When a man closes the door and draws the curtain, or looks at the private part of the woman, then the payment of the dowry becomes obligatory upon him."
