نَا نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُبَشِّرٍ ، نَا تَمِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْتَصِرِ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، نَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : " إِذَا أُجِيفَ الْبَابُ وَأُرْخِيَتِ السُّتُورُ ، فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْمَهْرُ " .
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "When the door is closed and the curtain is drawn, the payment of the dowry becomes obligatory."
