نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَوَّامِ ، عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً خَاصَمَتْ زَوْجَهَا فِي وَلَدِهَا ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمَرْأَةُ أَحَقُّ بِوَلَدِهَا ، مَا لَمْ تَزَوَّجْ " .
Amr ibn Shu'aib narrates from his father, from his grandfather: A woman had a dispute with her (former) husband regarding her child, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A woman has more right to (raise) her child, as long as she does not marry (another man)."
