نَا نَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، نَا أَبُو مُوسَى ، نَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ ، قَالَتْ : وَكَانَتْ تَحْتَ عَبْدٍ فَلَمَّا أَعْتَقْتُهَا ، قَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنْ شِئْتِ أَنْ تَمْكُثِي تَحْتَ هَذَا الْعَبْدِ ، وَإِنْ شِئْتِ أَنْ تُفَارِقِيهِ فَارَقْتِهِ " .
This narration is also transmitted with another chain, however, in it the words are: She (Barirah, may Allah be pleased with her) was the wife of a slave. When Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, set her free, the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to her: "If you wish, remain the wife of this slave, and if you wish, separate from him."
