Hadith 3738

نَا نَا دَعْلَجُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، نَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، نَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَسَدِيِّ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : " إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الْحُرَّةَ عَلَى الأَمَةِ ، قَسَمَ لِلأَمَةِ الثُّلُثَ وَلِلْحُرَّةِ الثُّلُثَيْنِ " .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "When the first wife is a slave woman and then he marries a free woman, in the division (of nights) the slave woman will have one third share and the free woman will have two thirds share."
