Hadith 3735

نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ زَنْجُوَيْهِ ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " قَلَّ مَا كَانَ يَوْمٌ ، أَوْ قَالَتْ : قَلَّ يَوْمٌ إِلا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فَيَدْنُو مِنْ كُلِّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ فَيُقَبِّلُ وَيَمَسُّ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَسِيسٍ وَلا مُبَاشَرَةٍ ، قَالَتْ : ثُمَّ يَبِيتُ عِنْدَ الَّتِي هُوَ يَوْمُهَا " ،.
Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: It often happened that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to visit all his wives; he would seat his wives with him, kiss them, and touch them, but he would not have intercourse or sexual relations with them. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would spend the night with the wife whose turn it was.
