نَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ مَالَجَ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : " تَزَوَّجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ فِي شَوَّالٍ وَجَمَعَهَا فِي شَوَّالٍ ، وَقَالَ : إِنْ شِئْتِ أَنْ أُسَبِّعَ عِنْدَكِ وَأُسَبِّعَ عِنْدَ صَوَاحِبَاتِكِ وَإِلا فَثَلاثَتُكِ ، ثُمَّ أَدُورَ عَلَيْكِ فِي لَيْلَتِكِ، قَالَتْ : بَلْ ثَلِّثْ لِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ " .
Abdul Malik bin Abu Bakr narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) married Lady Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) in the month of Shawwal, and her wedding took place in the month of Shawwal. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "If you wish, I will stay with you for seven days, and then stay seven days each with your fellow wives (co-wives), otherwise (the other option is) I will stay with you for three days, and then come to you on your appointed day." Lady Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! (For now) you (peace be upon you) stay with me for three days."
