Hadith 3728

نَا نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ ، نَا مُعَلَّى ، نَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ طَارِقٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : " أَيَقَعُ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى الْجَارِيَةِ وَابْنَتِهَا ، تَكُونَانِ مَمْلُوكِينَ لَهُ ، قَالَ : حَرَّمَتْهُمَا آيَةٌ وَأَحَلَّتْهُمَا آيَةٌ ، وَلَمْ أَكُنْ لأَفْعَلَهُ " .
Tariq bin Qais narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): Can a person have intercourse with both his slave woman and her daughter, while both are his property? So Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "One verse has made both of them unlawful, and one verse has made them lawful, but I will not do so."
