حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نُصَيْرٍ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ ، نا مُحْرِزُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، حَدَّثَتْنِي الرُّبَيِّعُ بِنْتُ مُعَوِّذٍ ، قَالَتْ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، تَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ مُقَدَّمَ رَأْسِهِ وَمُؤَخِّرَهُ وَصُدْغَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ إِصْبُعَيْهِ السَّبَّابَتَيْنِ فَمَسَحَ أُذُنَيْهِ ظَاهِرَهُمَا وَبَاطِنَهُمَا " .
Sayyida Rabi' bint Mu'awwiz (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I saw the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) performing ablution. He wiped over the front part of his head, the back part, and both temples. Then he inserted both his index fingers and wiped the outer and inner parts of his ears with them.
