Hadith 3691

نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، نَا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ، نَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ ، وَالْكَلْبِيِّ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلا مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ أَسْلَمَ وَعِنْدَهُ ثَمَانِ نِسْوَةٍ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اخْتَرْ مِنْهُنَّ أَرْبَعًا " ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ : أَقْبِلِي يَا فُلانَةُ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، أَدْبِرِي يَا فُلانَةُ أَدْبِرِي يَا فُلانَةُ.
Qais bin Harith Kalbi narrates a marfu’ hadith about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): A man from Banu Asad accepted Islam, and he had eight wives. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said to him: “Choose four of them.” So that man said: “O such-and-such woman! You come, O such-and-such woman! You come, O such-and-such woman! You go, O such-and-such woman! You go.”
