Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a man who had previously committed adultery with a woman and then later wanted to marry that same woman or perhaps her daughter. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No unlawful thing makes a lawful thing unlawful; prohibition is established only when there has been a prior marriage."
