Hadith 3674

نَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ، نَا مَالِكُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، وَشُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " أَرْبَعٌ لا يَجُوزُ فِي بَيْعٍ وَلا نِكَاحٍ : الْمَجْنُونَةُ ، وَالْمَجْذُومَةُ ، وَالْبَرْصَاءُ ، وَالْغَلْفَاءُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: There are four types of women (if they are slave women) whom it is not permissible to sell, and (whether free or slave) it is not permissible to marry them: a mad woman, a woman afflicted with leprosy, a woman afflicted with vitiligo, and a woman suffering from swelling of the private parts.
