نِكَاحُ الْمُحْرِمِMarriage during Ihram
Hadith 3650

نَا أَبُو طَالِبٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْحَافِظُ ، نَا هِلالُ بْنُ الْعَلاءِ ، نَا النُّفَيْلِيُّ ، نَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْمُحْرِمُ لا يَنْكِحُ ، وَلا يُنْكِحُ ، وَلا يَخْطُبُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "A person in the state of ihram cannot contract marriage himself, nor can he arrange the marriage of someone else, nor can he give a marriage proposal."
