نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ، نَا أَبُو أُمَيَّةَ الطَّرَسُوسِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، نَا الأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، نَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ عُتْبَةَ ، نَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، " عَنِ امْرَأَةَ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَهَا رَجُلٌ وَهُوَ خَارِجٌ مِنْ مَكَّةَ وَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْتَمِرَ أَوْ يَحُجَّ ، فَقَالَ : قَالَ : لا تَزَوَّجْهَا وَأَنْتَ مُحْرِمٌ ، نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ " .
Ikrimah bin Khalid narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about a woman whom someone from outside Makkah wants to marry, and he is going for Umrah or Hajj. He replied: "When you are in the state of Ihram, do not marry, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade this."
