نَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، نَا أَبُو الأَزْهَرِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الأَزْهَرِ ، نَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، نَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " حَرَّمَ أَوْ هَدَمَ الْمُتْعَةَ النِّكَاحُ ، وَالطَّلاقُ ، وَالْعُدَّةُ ، وَالْمِيرَاثُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The rulings of marriage, divorce, waiting period (‘iddah), and inheritance have made mut‘ah unlawful.” (The narrator is in doubt, or perhaps these are the words: “have rendered it void.”)
