نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، نَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُمَيْسٍ ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " رَخَّصَ فِي مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ عَامَ أَوْطَاسٍ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ ، ثُمَّ نَهَى عَنْهَا " .
Iyas bin Salamah narrates from his father (Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ رضي الله عنه): On the occasion of the Battle of Autas, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted temporary marriage (mut’ah) with women for three days, then after that he forbade it.
