Hadith 3639

نَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْوَرَّاقُ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْقَزَّازُ ، نَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ حُمْرَانَ ، نَا عَوْفٌ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، نَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يُرَى رِعَاءُ الشَّاءِ رُءُوسَ النَّاسِ ، وَأَنْ يُرَى الْحُفَاةُ الْعُرَاةُ الْجُوَّعُ يَتَبَارَوْنَ فِي الْبُنْيَانِ ، وَأَنْ تَلِدَ الأَمَةُ رَبَّهَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Among the signs of the Hour is that the shepherds of sheep will become the rulers of the people, and the barefoot, naked (i.e., scantily clothed), hungry people will compete with one another in constructing tall buildings, and the slave woman will give birth to her master.”
