نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ، نَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ ، نَا مُعَلَّى ، نَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، نَا أَبُو الأَسْوَدِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ ، وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذٍ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " أَمَرَ امْرَأَةَ ثَابِتِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ حِينَ اخْتَلَعَتْ مِنْهُ أَنْ تَعْتَدَّ حَيْضَةً " .
Sayyida Rabi' bint Mu'awwidh (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: He instructed the wife of Sayyiduna Thabit bin Qais (may Allah be pleased with him): "She should observe the waiting period for one menstrual cycle." This was when the woman had obtained khul‘ (divorce) from her husband.
