Hadith 3630

نَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الشَّافِعِيُّ ، نَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، نَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ، نَا سُفْيَانُ ، نَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لا تَأْخُذْ مِنَ الْمُخْتَلِعَةِ أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا أَعْطَاهَا " .
Ata reports: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A man should not take from a woman who seeks khul‘ more than what he had given her (as mahr)."
